Banana Bread
“Just add 3 more ingredients to turn it into ‘Lactation Banana Bread’ – suitable for breastfeeding mums”
*So after welcoming my baby boy, I’ve been trying to help out with making “food” for him which in this case .. find more ways to help the lactation process easier*

Ingredients
- Bananas x 4
- Butter 120g
- brown sugar 95g
- eggs x2
- flour 300g
- baking powder 4g
- baking soda 2g
- pinch of salt
(Oats 1cup, yeast 40g, flaxseed meal, 40g) + for lactation banana bread
Methods
- Mash bananas
2. Add melted butter (leaving abit in the bowl)
3. Add brown sugar (also leaving abit in the bowl)
4. Add eggs and flaxseed meal
5. Mix well with a whisk then add dry ingredients.
6. Combine well with spatula until dry ingredients dissolved
7. Place in a loaf pan and sprinkle the left over brown sugar, chia seeds and butter.
8. Bake in preheated oven 170 degrees celsius for 1 hour with foil on top then another 10-15 without foil.
*optional – you can sprinkle more sugar on the top if you like*
