Public health shouldn’t be contentious. But it’s incredibly polarizing.
On its surface, public health doesn’t seem as if it would be all that contentious. Who wouldn’t want to prevent disease or live a longer, healthier life? But Republicans and Democrats couldn’t be more polarized these days in how they approach public health policy solutions. Why?
