Mumma's salad

When they’re not topped with fattening dressings, salads are generally a smart meal choice during pregnancy because they are packed with the nutrients your baby needs to develop. Ensure it has been prepared properly and doesn’t contain any of the foods that are unsafe during pregnancy.

 

Preparation Time: 30 min

Cooking Time: 20 min

 Serves: 3 People

Ingredients

1/4 cup finely chopped zucchini (unpeeled)
few salad leaves
Brocoli
2 cups parboiled sprouted moong (whole green gram)
3/4 cup chopped apple (unpeeled and deseeded)
Cherry Tomatos
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tsp lemon juice
salt and to taste

Method

  • Combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl and toss well. Serve immediately.
