A Public Option Isn't Good Enough
Why shouldn't Democrats aim for a more popular and more achievable public option? Because it'll end up being neither, because it might actually halt progress toward single-payer, instead of being an "on ramp," and because it is an insufficient and immoral response to the current crisis of healthcare in America.
