DIY - Natual Body Wash and DIY crafts

REPLENISH – RENEW – RECHARGE THAT BEAUTIFUL SKIN NATURALLY

Your skin deserves a treat. It is your body’s first line of defense when it comes to fighting toxins. Your skin is the first thing people see when they look at you, don’t you want it to be nice and smooth with a natural glow? Yes, of course you do. Let’s give your skin some much needed natural TLC.

Why go natural? Go look under your kitchen sink, or your bathroom. Toxins are everywhere…. In your deodorant, shampoo, cosmetics, body lotion, and personal hygiene products are likely to contain preservatives and petrochemicals . Personal care items, including most body washes, often contain artificial fragrances, chemicals, and dyes that can irritate the skin, and we havent walked outside. Now don’t go and throw out all your stuff. I’m going to share tips that will allow you to baby step your way into a “natural” toxic free stock of your every day supplies.

Scented body wash is a fun way to wake up your senses in the morning or calm them down at night. Scented body wash can provide valuable nourishment to your skin, and your day if it contains the right ingredients. Try making this easy DIY Body Wash with essential oils! Your whole family will love it!

What you will need: (you can purchase here or click highlighted words)

 8 oz. glass pump bottle

 1/2 cup unscented Castile soap

 4 tablespoons vegetable glycerin

 3 tablespoons fractionated coconut oil

 10 drops of your favorite essential oil

Note: You can find vegetable glycerin at most health food stores. Vegetable glycerin will help the body wash be thicker, creamier, and lather better.

2. Add desired essential oil(s). Tip: For an uplifting body wash try these essential oils: Citrus Bliss, Peppermint, Grapefruit, Lime, or Eucalyptus. For a relaxing body wash try these: Lavender, Serenity, Bergamot, Geranium, or Roman Chamomile.

3. Shake to combine. You’re done! Make sure to shake before each use, as the ingredients will separate.

I love doTERRA essential oils. They not only smell great but help you to feel great. I hope you enjoy this as much as I do.
