Mickey and Minnie Mouse Painted Baby Jars! and DIY crafts

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle! Here’s a good way to use all of those baby jars you were storing for crafts! (If you’re anything like me).

You will need:

Acrylic Paint (Black, white and red)

Small or large empty and clean baby food jars (the size will depend on what you want)

Acrylic Gloss or Clear Gloss Spray Paint (HIGHLY RECOMMEND)

Step 1:

For Mickey Mouse Jars, you will need to paint the entire bottom half of the jars red. Let Dry.

For Minnie Mouse Jars, you will need to paint the entire jar (except the top part where the lid screws in) red. You can also use pink if you want to. Let Dry.

Step 2:

For Mickey Mouse Jars, paint the entire top half of the jars black. Let Dry

For Minnie Mouse Jars, paint the tippy top of the jar black. Let Dry

Step 3:

Repeat Steps 1 & 2.

Step 4:

For the Mickey Mouse Jars, paint some white circles right under the black in the red section. (Optional: You could paint yellow shoes on the bottom of the jar. But I didn’t do that…. I’m too lazy.)

For the Minnie Mouse Jars, use the white paint to paint polka dots over the red paint. Let dry completely. S

Step 5:

Let dry completely and spray or paint over the paint with the clear gloss spray or acrylic gloss paint.

All done! Pretty simple, if you find the time. You can fill them with candy or toys. I didn’t put the lids on them so that I could fit some toys in it and it worked! Happy Crafting!
