Sometimes we try to improvise and invent around the kitchen. Today, worked with the available ingredients and made a yummy smoothie. Simply add flaxseed to make it a lactation smoothie for breastfeeding moms.
Ingredients:
3/4 cup non-fat Greek yogurt (used BTIC brand)
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup quick cooking oatmeal
2 medium sized bananas or 3 small bananas
10-12 pcs of ice cubes (standard size) or 3-4 cups of crushed ice or use cold water
3-4 tablespoon on flaxseed (for lactation smoothie)
Procedure:
1. Put all the ingredients together.
2. Then use a blender to mix then all togther
3. Add and adjust any of the ingredients above depending on your preference
4. Enjoy your drink!
Put the excess in the refrigerator. Best to consume within the day.
