Review for Milky Mama Lactation Treats

fullview_lactation

Are any of you mamas having trouble producing breast milk? Have you tried making cookie, brownie, and oatmeal recipes found online?  Did you fail miserably in boosting your supply? That’s exactly what I did because I didn’t want to spend my money on baked goods that I felt I could make at home. Boy, was I wrong! By the way, I’m a stickler for reading reviews and doing my own research on any “mommy product” that I buy nowadays. What is a “mommy product”you ask? It is any product that makes you think that it will help you in caring for your newborn, infant, or toddler. There are a ton of useless mommy products circulating the internet. For example, the Beebo freehand bottle holder. Google it – it’s ridiculous. Or the baby shusher – really? I don’t usually do reviews on products, but since my blog is all about helping mommies I felt like this review would be a great start!

I found Milky Mama through the Instagram site and I’m so happy that I did. This company was started by a Registered Nurse named Krystal who also had a hard time producing a good supply of breast milk. Combining her knowledge from her medical background with her family’s secret recipe of lactation cookies she created her Milky Mama products. As soon as I learned that the mastermind behind all of this is a RN all of my doubts about these lactation treats went right out the door. (To read more about her and to shop her site here is the direct link  – http://ift.tt/28PEXyP.) I am so in love with her “Emergency Brownie” and Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies. The brownie package consists of 6 brownies for only $10 and the dozen of cookies are only $13. She also offers a sampler pack, a couple starter packs, oatmeal, and a variety of drinks. If you feel like being a Suzy Homemaker she also offers a cookie mix to purchase so you can make your own batch at home. If you’re worried about your spouse or children getting their hands on these items, DON’T! They are full of fiber and whole grains, but I had to hide them from my son because they were that delicious! Food allergies? Just shoot her a message and she’ll let you know if she can accommodate them. I’m excited to try the rest of her products because the brownies and cookies worked a miracle over me. Her products are super affordable and she even gives an option for a monthly subscription so you never dry up… WHAT?!? I know crazy, but crazy good!

On a side note there is another brand with the same name, Milky Mama Cookies, so please do not mix them up. I’ve posted Krystal’s direct links to her social media sites down below. Don’t forget to leave a review on her site(s) after you have tried her products! Thank you, Krystal, for giving us all a little boost in our supply! Good luck fellow mommies!

This review was not paid for and free merchandise was not received for this post. I just really wanted to give my personal kudos to Milky Mama Lactation Treats since the products helped me tremendously!
