No Sew Throw Pillows DIY and DIY crafts

These are super simple. No sewing at all required and no buying fabric. These are made from standard pillowcases! So you probably have some extra around you don’t need. I was in desperate need of some white throw pillows for my new hanging chair I made, (That’s another DIY post soon to come), but like I’ve mentioned Key West just gives no options so I had to get creative.

Materials used:

  • 2 standard white pillow cases

  • 1 napkin ring (lol, I bet you didn’t guess that one)

  • Stuffing from an old pillow (or use old throw pillows)

  • Scrap ribbon

  • Glue gun

ROUND PILLOW

1. Lay out your pillow case.

2. Stuff about half way with stuffing or old throw pillow.

3. Place napkin ring over the pillow and push down.pillow case napkin ring DIY

4. Stuff top half of pillow case. Use glue gun to close edges together at top. (sorry no pic of this)

5. Finally bring all for corners together in back and use glue gun to secure. (you could also just use a safety pin, hair tie, whatever works)

RECTANGLE PILLOW

1. Place old throw pillow inside pillowcase and fold in half. Glue bottom in place with glue gun.

2. Glue edges of ribbon to seam on sides.

Done! Easy!

The cool part is you can play around with the folding and use the fold over part as storage for your remote! How awesome is that?
