Travel Outside the Box: A Colorful Road Trip for the Whole Family

There’s nothing more delightful than opening a fresh new box of Crayola crayons; the crisp points of color, the plethora of artistic possibilities, and that new crayon smell that resonates with us all. A recent study conducted by Yale University found that the scent of Crayola crayons is one of the most recognizable scents for adults, ranking at number 18 (coffee and peanut butter were ranked number 1 and 2).

I recently made a road trip to the Crayola Experience, a museum and Crayola factory located in Easton, Pennsylvania. The strong smell of crayons transported me back to childhood as I gazed upon the impressive spectrum of colors. With tons of hands on fun for children, the world’s largest crayon, and a gift shop featuring every Crayola product known to man, this place is a huge hit for the entire family!

The town of Easton is also worth seeing, with gorgeous murals covering the local shops and eateries. An artistically-inspiring road trip for the whole family!
