Bedford Sweater Update and DIY crafts

Bedford Sweater | The Knitted

I finished my Bedford sweater! It was such a fun knit and I’m happy to say I love the result. I was so nervous throughout the knitting process. I tried it on as I went and at parts, I was worried it would be too big and at others, I was convinced it was too small, but in the end it is perfect with just the right amount of slouch. I had to reknit part of the sleeve a few times – the first time, the sleeve was big enough for two of my arms with maybe an extra two inches of positive ease. But it was definitely worth it! The body is basically a modified rib, which is nice because there is a lot of wiggle room if you’re concerned about fit. You can block it heavily (which I did) so the body is looser or your can just lightly block it and have the sweater closer fitting.

So this just a little update/teaser. I can’t promise that official pictures will be up next week (I have two midterms! I’m falling to pieces with stress) but the week after is a definite possibility.
