DIY: Hair Bows  and DIY crafts

These cute creatures are fashionable and super easy to make!

Hair bows never go out of style. Wether you’re going to school or work, just pick out the right color and you’re good to go!

Materials needed:

  • Ruler

  • Scissors

  • Glue Gun

  • Stick Glue

  • Fabric (Any prints will do!)

  • Alligator clips/ French Barrette

STEP ONE

Cut out a 6 x 10 piece of fabric. (Any measurements will do, it depends on the size of the bow you want)

STEP TWO

Fold the long sides of the fabric in half.

After doing so, turn on your glue gun and start gluing the folded sides together. (Be careful! Glue guns can be very hot, it might burn your skin)

STEP THREE

Fold it again in half and glue the long sides together. This time, run the gun between the raw sides too!

STEP FOUR

Play with the shape of your bow

STEP FIVE

Glue the center of your bow, include the back part.

STEP SIX

Cut out a 1-inch wide fabric (same print)

STEP SEVEN

Wrap the center of the bow with the inch-wide fabric. Seal it in with the Glue gun.

FINAL STEP

Glue a clip at the back of the bow. (For this, I am using an alligator clip.)

DRUM ROLL PLEASE…

Here are some of my other handmade hair bows

See? Hair bows are unbelievably easy to make! Now go find a lovely fabric and start making a bow for yourself!
