This weekend I was finally able to make soap! It’s my first batch of cold process soap. My mom and I worked together to make it. I don’t have any pictures of what it looks like except in it’s mold.
The whole process took a little under an hour. I accidentally inhaled a few fumes from the lye and water solution. Oops. Other than that, it was pretty easy to do. If it turns out well I will be selling homemade soap on my Etsy page which you can find HERE.
A few more things that I made this week that are also available are two wreaths made for Easter.
I thought they came out really cute!! But that is all the crafts I have from last week. It was actually rather productive. Compared to usual anyways.
Yesterday was such a beauitful day that I actually got out to take some pictures…and Pixel was a wonderful subject to photograph!
And being the nerd that I am I had to take a few pictures of the trees…I don’t know why I am so fascinated with trees. I just love how they stand against the sky.
I realize that the ones with the sun in the back did not turn out too well, but I still like them. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all…right?
I got out my camera instead of using my phone to take pictures. It’s been a while since I have used it, but I found a picture of Pixel! So…look at how adorable and small she once was!
Her adorable floppy ears. And for reference I took this picture for you…
Sorry for the bombarding of photos, but when I get out my camera I go a little crazy!
Happy Monday folks! I hope the day treats you well.
