Where did the time go? and DIY crafts

Life is crazy.


Not just crazy. Chaotic.


I have had every intention of blogging the last few weeks and have even started a few posts. But life has gotten in the way of any of these thoughts coming to fruition.


I have many jobs. I am an office assistant. I am an independent consultant. I am a nanny. I am a freelance graphic designer. I have several different online shops like Etsy etc to upkeep.


And on top of that, I am a wife. One that likes things clean.


So my spare moments have been pretty non-existent.


That being said, I am going to try to do better! I love the cathartic avenue of blogging and want to continue to share life with all of you!


Because I have so much to juggle but don’t really want to drop anything.. I created this thing… its essentially a blank calender.. but I call it my “Efficiency Planner”


The idea is to fill in the dates and break down my jobs into little attainable chunks. For example – To break up my Etsy shop to-dos – I would put the “renewal dates” in and pick a couple dates to work on creating new items etc.


Its all about breaking down to-dos and projects so they are manageable but also have set deadlines. Then making sure that everything is spread out enough that I’m not overloading myself on any particular day or week.
