Now that we are in the armpit of a Chicago winter, I’ve made it a point to avoid the outdoors even more than usual. As a result, I’ve been spending a lot of time on the internet, where I discovered Bee and Puppycat.

Amazing, right? The perfect combination of cats, Sailor Moon-esque magical nonsense, and general cuteness.
It was only a matter of time before I made some kind of Puppycat craft. Those angry little eyebrows are irresistible! Initially I had wanted to make Bee’s bee sweater, but the Gods of Michael’s crafts conspired against me and were out of yellow sweatshirts.
I will DIY you one day, adorable bee sweater.
Not to be discouraged, I picked up the next best thing – a zipper pouch. I sketched a Puppycat design, cut the pieces out of felt, and stitched everything on.
Drawing in the scowl was very important.
Starting to look like Puppycat.
Stitching everything together.
Not a bad likeness, eh? I’m going to fill this bad boy with all of the random lip glosses I have floating around at the bottom of my purse.
