Bridesmaid boxes for invitation and DIY crafts

Ever since I got engaged, I’ve been thinking of a special way to ask the dearest ladies in my life to be my bridesmaids. And so, the non-stop pinning began. Pinterest is every bride to be’s ( basically everybody’s) best friend aside from their Maid of Honor, and so is mine. After days of pinning, I finally decided to make bridesmaid boxes. But instead of just putting random stuff, being the sentimental person that I am, I decided to make it more personal. First, I practiced calligraphy. It is a fun thing to learn. It makes you an inch closer to becoming the artist you’ve been wanting to be.

After a week of practice, I decided I am ready for the real thing.

I think it turned out better than I expected which made me happy.

Each box includes a handcrafted bridesmaid gown and hanger, m&m’s in pastel to reflect the wedding theme, a cute mini bottle of alcohol that I got from BevMo! and starfishes, that I ordered from ebay, since it’s a beach wedding. Most of the boxes I got from a friend who’s subscribed to Glossybox. They have the perfect pink box that I was looking for.

Everything turned out pretty cute. And all my efforts were rewarded by “Heck YEAH“s from my bridesmaids which is the best part of it.
