This one is kind of cheating because I missed yesterday.
Baby is going to his first ever Easter Egg hunt later today, so I made him some bunny ears. I really wanted to make them only of things that I already had in the house, so they’re made of some quilt batting, pink and white felt, and elastic. And a little piece of velcro. Actually, it’s kind of amazing that I had all of that stuff here.
I was going to attempt to make them well — sew them together and everything — but my husband saw my preparations and said, “Why don’t you just hot glue it?”
I’m all for things that save time. Especially for things like these bunny ears that will be used maybe twice. And except for the burn I sustained on my right thumb, things turned out pretty well.
This Nemo ball seemed like a pretty good approximation for Baby’s head size.
I’d protest how much better they look in person… but they really don’t. I’ll bet they’re going to be a lot cuter on Baby, though.
