Tips for applying an iron-on Applique:
Choose a Product
Decide what your want to personalize or spruce up using an applique. You can use an item that has a hole that needs to be repaired. For example, a pair of jeans with an unwanted tear. You can use an item with a design that you want to add to, for example, an embellished blouse that you want to personalize. Or you can use a plain item, for example, a plain white tee that you’d like to add some embellishment to.
I chose a plain white tee.
Choose an Applique
After choosing what you want to embellish, choose an applique that will compliment the item you’ve chosen. Know where you will put the applique and make sure the applique is an appropriate size and shape to place exactly where you want to. There are all kinds of appliques out there to choose from: embroidered, beads, crystals, jewels, and so on.

Apply your Applique
Follow the instructions that accompany your applique to apply it properly. Ensuring that the applique is used correctly will enhance the life of your applique so it does not immediately come off. Tip: to add extra insurance to the adherence of your applique add a few stitches along the outside of the applique and other key points that might detach easily.
