農曆新年燈籠製作步驟 Chinese New Year Lantern Step by Step and DIY crafts

Lantern, represents the Chinese New Year, also represents celebrations, weddings, you can handmade one for New Year as a decoration, or gift to friends and family weddings, birthdays and so on. 製作步驟 Step by step instructions

1. 用Sizzix Bigz Dies – Snowflake裁切六片厚咭紙及四張紅色美工紙，分兩分全部貼起來。剪裁同色美工紙為7×2寸並貼上絲帶，圍成圓筒形貼好，見圖。Die cut 6 pieces of chipboard and 4 pieces of red cardstock using Sizzix Bigz Dies – Snowflake, separate into two sets and glue altogether. Cut 7x2inch from red cardstock and stick ribbons on, stick the two ends to form a cone, as shown

2. 貼上燈籠底層的裝飾品，貼上吊飾的時候可用膠紙定位。Decorate the base of the lantern as shown, use tape to help when you glue the long charm.

3. 剪裁紅色美工紙為10-3/4×4寸並於每1-3/4寸留摺痕，每格留1/4寸邊並剪出讓中央留空，如圖。再剪裁6片膠片為3-7/8×1-5/8貼在窗口上，並卷成筒形貼好。Cut 10-3/4x4inch from red cardstock, fold at every1-3/4inch, for every scored section, left 1/4inch as edges and cut the middle out as shown. Cut 6 pieces of 3-7/8×1-5/8inch from plastic sheet, stick in every window，then form a form shape and stick.

4. 剪裁棕色美工紙為8.5×4.5寸，在半寸位置留摺痕並在這半寸位置貼上雙面膠紙。把這半寸邊剪開如圖，再把整張咭紙卷成圓筒貼好。剪裁金色牛油紙為8.5×4寸，貼上裝飾或照片，完全後貼在圓筒上。Cut 8.5×4.5 from brown cardstock and score at 1/2inch, tape double sided tape on the half inch score part, cut the tape area as shown, round up and tape to form a cone shape. Cut 8.5x4inch from gold foil vellum and decorate with flowers or photos, tape on the brown cardstock cone just made.

5. 把衛生紙卷及已準備好的兩個筒形裝飾貼在底座如圖。Stick a tissue toilet roll and the two cone ready in step 2 and 3 on the base as shown.

6. 燈籠的頂部跟底部做法大致上一樣，只是方向不一樣，把小吊飾串好，固定在厚咭紙上便可。把鋁線卷成你喜歡的型態，把兩邊末端卷成勾狀並穿入厚咭子的小孔裡。The top part of the lantern is nearly the same as the base, just in different direction, hang up and glue the charms into the little holes of the die cut shape. Shape the wire as desired, remember to make little hooks like at two ends which you can just put into the holes to form the handle.
