The Gamers Girlfriend has really been struggling to make some difficult decisions lately I currently work as a nursery nurse and the nursery that i work in the nursery nurses including myself are under threat from a drop in wage and drop in hours, I have currently being wondering whether i should stay in the job and do my crafts for extra money or leave and go to university to become a primary school teacher.
I have had to take some many things into consideration to make this decision and it was so hard to do so the pros and the cons of this are…
If i go to university and college..
Con- I wont be working for at least 6 years
Con- No money
Con- No moving out
Con – No wedding or children
Con- a big debt at the end of it all
Pro- I can become a teacher
Pro- a more secure career choice
pro- more money
If i do crafts instead of primary teaching then the pros and cons are…
Pro- I can do this is my spare time and it is easy to learn
Pro – i do love doing it, it relaxes me
Pro- I would love to have my own business
Con- there are a lot of people out there doing the same
Con- not sure if once my wage is lowered i will be able to do it.
as you can see the pros and cons are lower for the crafts so i ended up going with that in the end i just hope that it will take off for me when the time comes.
What do you guys think of my decision? and what would you do if you were me?
