Once upon a time my mother told be that every room needs some red in it.
For instance, in the living room I have a couple of red leather frames.
And even though I’m a cool blue, green, grey girl I try to use this tip in every room.
Five doorways and six windows don’t leave much actual wall space.
Most of the conservatory is doorways and windows with little wall space.
This 19″ by 24″ peony print will brighten up the green walls of the conservatory.
But the newly painted green conservatory is getting its red in this peony print I’ve hung on the largest wall.
The wall color is “Tea Light,” a pale green, which is not true to color in this photo.
I was afraid the green matte would clash with the green wall but in fact it enhances it.
We usually keep the television parallel to the wall with the artwork.
It’s hung a little high so it can be seen over the television.
