Home Sweet Home and DIY crafts

I’m not sure if I’m a lunatic or if anyone else does this. I like to take pictures of all the places we’ve lived at. Currently this is our home.

So wipe your paws and come in.

Welcome!!

We got that great cubby (console table) from Target. The mirror is Home Interiors which I spray painted (sorry).

And those two chair stools on the side I sanded down, primed, painted and reupholstered them. They were originally black on black but I wanted to lighten them up a bit.

Our sofa was purchased at Rooms to Go.

And that ottoman was made by me. I took an old table from my grandfather. Painted it. I then bought padding at Walmart and the fabric was purchased at Hobby Lobby.

It seemed it would be more complicated but it turned out to be quit easy.

For his room I went with a sailing them. It’s still a work in progress but so far I am happy with the outcome.

The boat book case I got at an Antique store in Memphis, Texas! It was his room inspiration.

I wanted our kitchen to be functional but also be inviting. So I used warm tones and extra details. Mostly everything is from Target with the exception of the kiss goodbye statute. That was purchased at Tj Maxx.

Our Breakfast Bar. Which is usually stocked with bagels, energy bars, oatmeal cups and anything fast and easy. Is where we make coffee and grab a quick breakfast. Perfect for those rushed mornings. It also hold all of Landon’s cups, plates, bowls Etc. in the drawers below.

The Boudoir:

I like simplicity and being clutter free.

The hubs and I both like grays . So we went with a grayscale.

A future project will be a headboard. Stay tuned for that.

We continued the navy from the bedroom and followed it to the bathroom. Again I just wanted something crips and clean.

The shower curtain, towels and bath rug all purchased at Marshall’s.
