What do I love about industrial interiors?
Well, for starters the use of materials are to die for: concrete, brick, steel and timber are all used in dramatic and raw ways. In order to encapsulate the idea of ‘loft’ or ‘apartment’ living these materials are often used in conjunction with high ceilings, metallic and unfinished furniture pieces.
Some favourite and popular trends emerging within the industrial style are vintage furniture pieces, recycled or repurposed pieces, stainless steel surfaces, exposed brick feature walls, recycled timber floorboards, large paned windows and exposed pipes/ducts.
Hope everyone is feeling like decorating a New York apartment as much as I am!
