(Re)Make your own...bronzer and DIY crafts

My favourite bronzer recently ran out but I did happen to save the remains around the tin of the case.

Here’s a quick DIY on remaking a bronzer. Equally you can use this same remedy to remake an eyeshadow, blusher or powder.

You will need:

*bronzer remains (or remains of any powder product)

*a small container

*a card

*rubbing alcohol

*mixing utensil

1. Scoop out the remains of bronzer from the tin onto a hard surface

2. Using a card ( I used my Starbucks card) crush the bronzer into a fine dust

3. Sweep the powder into a small container

4. Add 1 squirt of rubbing alcohol into the mix (add more if needed). If you add too much, don’t worry as it will just take longer to evaporate

5. Using a thin utensil, (toothpick or end of a brush), mix the mixture until it becomes smooth

6. Finally, leave the bronzer to set overnight

And there you have it, a makeshift bronzer. A fine way to reuse broken makeup without the guilt of throwing away a good product.
