DIY Manicure; Cobalt Blue and Gold Glitter and DIY crafts

I am obsessed with giving myself manicures. I rarely go to the salon to get my nails done, and when I do, it’s always for stiletto nails. I’m not going to pay someone to do my nails while she (I’m assuming) makes fun of my chubby fingers in Korean with all the other technicians and gets too rough with my cuticles. It’s painful, not relaxing. After lots of practice I’ve gotten pretty good at it and figured I would start posting them. 😊

That being said, I work in retail so my manicure doesn’t really last that long so my nails are frequently changing.

Tonight I was inspired by this picture in found on Pinterest from @trendypolish

I’m satisfied with the results. This is one of my favorite manicures I have done so far. Here are the products I used…

I always put a base of the #1 gel primer from L’Oreal’s Extraordinaire Gel-Laque 1-2-3 kit. The blue is from Urban Outfitters and the color actually didn’t have a name I could see. The polishes are usually 2 for $5 and they’re pretty good! The gold glitter is by Orly and is called “Too Fab.” And for clear coat I always use the #3 gel glaze from the L’Oreal Extraordinaire set.

And that’s all my lovelies! The technique is pretty self explanatory. ;)

Be happy, be beautiful, be you.
