At the very end of 2014 I decided to buy a new car, get a puppy, and move into a new home in Calgary. Three huge decisions all in one. The choice to officially settle down and plant some roots in Alberta was bitter sweet. As I signed the papers, the ocean, my friends in BC, and how much I would miss everything if I put pen to paper popped into my mind. I looked around and thought about all the memories to be made in my new home and it felt right to commit. What it really came down to for me was how many rooms I get to decorate, the DIY projects to take on, and all the blogs to be written in the process of making the house my own. After long debate and countless evenings dissecting Pinterest, I decided to incorporate my coastal life with my country girl life. This two bedroom classic 50’s style home is in for an overhaul. Keep watching the blog to see upcoming inspiration, ideas, projects, progress, and completed rooms. There may even be a few hamilton products available for purchase along the way.
