Another way I like to repurpose vintage jewelry is to “upcycle”, which means that I am making an old or unused piece better or more usable. These clip on earrings aren’t necessarily repurposed, because they serve the same purpose – to wear as earrings. But not many people under the age of 80 don’t wear vintage clip on earrings anymore! ;-p
Here’s a sample of 4 pairs of vintage clip on earrings that I upcycled. I removed the clip mechanism, smoothed any rough areas, and attached modern French hooks or lever back ear wires. Find these and more upcycled earrings here on my Etsy shop!
