DIY word bunting and DIY crafts

I’ve had a white blank wall in the kids playroom that I’ve been starring at for months trying to work out what to put there. In the end I decided to hang a cute saying on the wall…

To make on yourself you’ll need:

String

Darning needle

Felt letters (you can either cut these out yourself or buy them pre cut)

You’ll need to work out your quote and lay out the letters. Starting backwards, thread the letters onto the string using the darning needle.

I used the 3M hooks to affix the string to the wall.

All up this project took 30mins and I’m so happy with the result!! The best part is that the felt is strong enough to keep the letters in place so you don’t need to knot each letter. Another bonus is that you can easily pull the letters off and start again if you want to change it up! :D
