Hey guys! Sooo I don’t know about you, but I LOVE LOVE LOOOOVE the winter for more than a couple reasons… But mainly, for the ability to wear FUR! I believe fur is the best way to add texture and sass to any outfit in the winter. Now, when I say fur I’m not necessarily speaking of authentic fur, faux fur is JUST as plush now a days; and I never EVERRR thought I would even say such a thing! But it’s true, today I can hardly distinguish real fur from faux fur and that is coming from the mouth of a fur connoisseur! I remember in high school running to the fabric store, (not knowing a thing about sewing or patterns) and making a full on white rabbit fur strapless dress for homecoming dance, it was a HIT! That was me… Constantly pushing the boundaries, nothing could stop me from expressing myself. It’s safe to say that I am OBSESSED with fur and my love for it will only grow stronger. I feel like every year I find new ways to wear it. Most of these pieces I made my self (5 minute diy literally)… A 5 minute project that can instantly nominate you to the MFP (Most Fab Person) in the room! However, of course it has to be done the right way; tasteful, classic. Just remember, you are accenting what you’re wearing, not recreating and you’ll be in good hands. Don’t cheat yourself!
